A friend of mine is an amazing cook and baker who was professionally trained in France. She periodically offers cooking classes for locals to learn how to make a few of her famous recipes, namely her incredible pavlovas, which she sells at a nearby café. Awhile back, some friends and I signed up for one of her classes because we were dying to know how to make her desserts.

Spicy Restaurant-Style Salsa

Hola amigos!

I am loco for Mexican food. I could definitely consume enchiladas and tacos for every meal for all eternity and not complain about it. I could also easily subsist on chips and salsa for the same length of time. Actually, I might prefer it.

I’m that person who totally fills up on the salty chips and smooth salsa whenever I’m at a Mexican restaurant, barely able to shove my actual meal into my stomach by the time it arrives.

Parmesan Gorgonzola Dip

Sports are not my thing.

Not only do I lack the talent or desire to play them; watching other people play them isn’t exactly my idea of a good time, either. I grew up with two brothers and no sisters, so naturally, they played sports while I played Barbies. In Briannaland, American Idol is the only regularly viewed competition, and an hour playing Just Dance on the Kinect is a successful workout.
